Well the Msx's Big Brother arrived today the RS19 HS.A little bit of prep work first, sliming the tyre, side pads before a test ride tomorrow.

Just came across this about the Ex2.Looks like they might be running 2 models at two different voltages and 2 different Wh battery packs. 116 volts at 2040 Wh and 100 volts at 3600 Wh both high torque motors.one is the Ex2 the other the Ex2s

So I said I would report back on the Begode spiked footplates after I had done some miles of riding and having clocked up 40 miles I can say that they are definitely worth the upgrade over the standard ones.Giving much better grip and the larger size helps acceleration and braking whilst stability is also improved.The only downside is the cost approx £180 and if you like riding in thin soled shoes as I do in the summer ( suede karting boots) this may not be possible as you can feel the spikes .

Just took delivery of a pair of these bad boys and I must say that they are pretty big.I am a size 10 shoe and there is no overhang.Look at the difference in size standard Msx foot plate to Begode spiked foot plates.Thought I would just weigh each plate to see the difference,Msx peddle 665 grams Begode spiked peddle 966 grams so 50% heavier.so we will see how we go.

Anyone else venture out today in the mist and drizzle.Only went for a short 10 mile ride but still fun.
