Kingsong S18, need some help. Hi Guys, I tried charging my S18 today as the winter is almost over and I'm having some issues.

Issue 1. The light is permanently on now. I can't turn it off.

Issue 2. The app can find the wheel but no data what so ever. The app says there is a firmware update to 2.06 but it just say upgrading firmware and progress bar not doing anything. Should I just wait? I don't think it is doing anything.

Does anyone know what might be wrong?

Additional info. I stopped right at the end of summer, around October and left the wheel on a stand in my dinning room. Today is the first time I'm charging the wheel. Don't think the the wheel would have discharged completely would it?

Update I updated the kingsong app using the latest APK but it now says my wheel is an "illegal device".....I bought it from Sppedy Feet so I'm sure it is fine just the software is all over the place. More importantly I can't get my wheel to work :(

Kingsong S18 shipping block????

Hi guys, can someone tell me where this block is I'm supposed to knock out? As you can see in the pics I tried with a screwdriver on where I thought the block was but I dont see any joins.......im pretty sure it is one piece.

Saw this video a while ago and I think it has some useful information about the suspension.

What I hadn't noticed until now is that the recommended pressure in this video is completely different to the DNM manual that came with the wheel. My opinion is that the settings in the chart in this table are probably more suitable for the S18 (there is a chance that the DNM manual is written for bikes), given that i found i had to up the PSI in the top chamber.

What still baffles me is that DNM stated the max psi for the negative chamber should is 85psi and this video recommended figures way over that :)

S18 rear shock:
What size is it!??? A while ago there was a video from Kingsong explaining now the suspension works e.g it is progressive rather linear etc. In that video the guy implied that the max travel is 50mm. So detective me looked up the spec of the DNM 36rc shock that had a max travel of 50mm and the only one I found was 195×50.

So I've been assuming that it is 195x50. However a video was released a couple of days ago by Kingsong International, and in that video it said that you can change the shock as long as it is 200x57🤔 but the 36RC doesn't have a 57mm travel....and the only 200 available is 200×55. And apparently on ewheels website in the US is says 200x51 lol

So. What is the size of the shock!?!?! In my head the 200 is the key measurement and surely a few mm difference in the travel shouldnt really matter......or does it?

Also there is this 36RC or 38RC thing in the background but thats a separate issue

Edit: the reason I'm keen to know is that whilst waiting for the wheel I can have fun looking at the potential upgrades online

Edit 2: 100mm travel must be the pedals' travel. My bad.

Edit 3: so looks like Kingsong may have negotiated with DNM to make more 36RCs (screen shot below). Speedy Feet news to you?
