Old Trapper I really need to slime my tyres. I keep on putting it off as when I have a gap I just want to go and ride. But I will need to sort this out for the sping time. Just lazy from my side.

Andre Mostert With slime in tyre, basically you are safe just taking a small pump in your rucksack on extended trips :-).
Three issues slime cannot heal:
- Snakebite (riding a curb with too low pressure resulting in two small punctures)
- Exploding tyre ( far too high pressure) or large crack in tube
- defective valve
By the way: slime eases handling of tubless tyres and conversions to tubeless by automatically tightening rim/tyre contact

Quarter of the bottle will do easily.
Since you did not look for the puncture ... leaving the culprit sticked in the tyre might render slime uselsess. Obviously you were lucky, nevertheless I strongly recommend to look for it and remove anything you might find.
