Only thing I can think is that they are connected the wrong way around. Do you have one side working or is both sides dead after cleaning?

Thanks buddy, no there not connected the wrong way round. Neither side is working. 5v is present at all four LEDs?

Richard Webb you dont have any other source you can test the lights on to make sure they not not faulty? Just lobbing some ideas out there.

Richard Webb makes sense, I was thinking more in the lines of an other battery power source like the light strips you buy from amazon or Philips Hue.

Yeah, that’s the next option, I thought there might be some controller issue as the 5v is present. I’ll hook up some other LEDs, I’m sure that will work as there is a voltage there, they just won’t change colour

There is a vid on Ian's channel ... he had to change the LEDs for being defective.

Unfortunately not buddy no. I’m thinking of running some COB LEDs front and back, single colour (red & white) not controlled though

Not really mate 🤦‍♂️ Iv brought some LEDs but haven’t got round to fitting them

RS COB LED update, fitted and waterproofed. Looking absolutely brilliant.

Not 100% sure, 5v was present however the control voltage never changed so I think the board is defective.
